Name: Panic Attack/Panic
Age: 16
Gender: ♂
Breed: Halloween Hunter
Personality: Panic is an incredibly nervous individual who struggles to maintain his emotions and keep them under control; more often than not being unpredictable, fiery-tempered and cranky, meaning that working with him is increasingly difficult. Panic has a somewhat negative aura about him, he is anti-social and detached from every-day life in the herd of Sudden Death. Having no patience, or frequently seizing up is a big problem for him, especially when out on field missions that he has been assigned by Killer. His reputation is also well known for injuring many other horses and in some cases, himself. However, his surrounding peers are well-aware of his background, knowing that he was a world-class eventer. They understand that his trauma associated with the accident is the reason why he may frequently act up, but, nonetheless, he is still eligible as a well-suited guard and spy, often completing various tasks accompanied with the infamous entourage of Osiris, Imp, Death's Entrance and Raphael. Due to his colourful background, he has a large amount of respect. Many are thankful that a big-time celebrity like Panic himself, is dedicating his time and effort to help Sudden Death in their battle to claim the realm as theirs.
Panic is aware that he is not a normal horse, but doesn't understand why. He sometimes has experienced his powers surface at completely random times, but has never been able to control them. Thankfully for Panic, he has accepted intense training and therapy from the herd psychologists and his friends to help him manage his emotions and to deal with the trauma of his accident.
History: Panic Attack was born in the Capital City of New York, where he was bred to be an eventer for a famous rider. Having had incredibly talented and valuable genetic inheritance from top-class competition horses, and being born into a world of fame, this stallion knows everything about having what it takes to be a successful champion. It is suspected that somewhere along his bloodline, there was a contamination that included unusual genetic qualities that were able to mutate and somewhat CHANGE the DNA of it's current occupant. Although not directly related to Panic, he has indeed inherited this strange genetic trait from past relatives, thus enhancing his growth, mind-power, height and blessing him with unknown magical qualities far from anything ever known.
After training and remaining unbeaten throughout all of his competitive career, Panic was transported from New York to London to finish up his final stages of training at a big-time yard in Westminster, located at the Queen's Palace, before qualifying to compete in the International Olympic Games. However, whilst competing, Panic suffered a severe and traumatizing accident, crashing straight through a fence-breaking his leg and landing on top of his rider. When he fell and made impact with the ground, he had been knocked unconscious and later fell into a coma, almost dying in the process. After the competition had drawn to an end, he was seen as permanently unfit to compete forever, meaning that his owners had no choice but to send him back to America to be taken care of in the best animal hospital in the country.
Even though Panic was officially unsatisfactory as a competition horse and a ridable horse, those that knew and trained him had faith in his recovery. However when they began to retrain him, they underestimated the impact of his accident. Due to being knocked unconscious, falling into a coma and suffering from amnesia, Panic had indeed forgotten everything he was taught, who he was and WHAT he was, resulting in a complete tragedy. He had snapped, experiencing a strange and powerful explosion of unknown magic that had killed most of the population surrounding Westminster and outer-London, much like a radioactive/nuclear bomb.
This recent event had caused shock and outrage to the world who came to know of the incident through the international headlines. Once attracting negative press from the humans, Panic couldn't deal with his life as a normal horse anymore, and fled, disappearing from the human world forever.
...
Panic was older now, and wiser too. He had searched for roughly two years to find any sign of refuge. He had reached a place seemingly untouched by the fearsome two-leggeds and often ran into conflict with stray bachelors who had claimed insignificant territory. He of course, overpowered them with his strength and brutality, but finding a stable lifestyle was mandatory if he was to survive much longer, and not waste his efforts fighting stranger stallions for territory so that he could continue on his search.
Lack of support and stability meat that Panic's condition had suffered. Of course, he wasn't accustomed to living on his own as he was previously cared for by the humans. Loss of weight and condition left him weak; his ribcage was visible and his top-line was hollow-a far cry from when he was in his prime, boasting excellent conformation, muscle definition and a sleek, glistening coat. His strange markings were dull and lifeless, mirroring how he felt inside.
Eventually, Panic had buckled, searching for food as-well-as searching for refuge proved too much after a lengthened period of time. His body fell and lay on one of the Sudden Death herds' back trails-used for discreet and deadly missions and for the field-agents to use in masked protection against enemy herds. Imp and Osiris had emerged from the Forbidden Forest to discover this incredible mass of an animal. Straight away they reported their sightings to Killer, who ordered them to bring Panic in. Once a quick assessment was completed, Killer ordered a team of healers and carers to aid the young stallions' recovery, wary not to let anything slip his watchful gaze. He was sour and somewhat cold towards Panic, which wasn't unusual for any member of the Sudden Death Herd, but alas, he accepted him and sooner or later discovered his history and assigned him a role to fulfil as a member of the Sudden Death herd.
After a full recovery, Panic was trained and put through his paces and is now a very useful weapon at the mercy of Killer's disposal should he so wish. Although not an official member of the 'entourage' (Osiris, Imp, Death and Raphael), he is loosely acquainted with them and often accompanies them on missions.
(Due to being traumatized in his competition career, Panic has lost all of his confidence, and may be phased by the smallest of things. He isn't very patient when it comes to stressful situations, and may suffer problems with his past injuries.)
Current Living Status: Sudden Death Herd
Mood: Extremely hesitant, nervous, slightly fiery-tempered, excitable, energetic
Other: Panic's eyes and markings glow all of the time, however they shine most intensely when he is feeling an intense emotion. He beholds very valuable magical abilities but he is not aware of them.
